      You don&#039;t really have to check if a log level is enabled with SLF4J (at least most of the time): &lt;a href=&#034;http://logback.qos.ch/manual/architecture.html&#034; rel=&#034;nofollow&#034;&gt;check the parameterized logging section in the Logback manual.&lt;/a&gt; It is one of my main reasons to use it instead of log4j.

      i used IDEA and its nice to hear some opinion about IDEA that is not Mac type of opinion -ask people why they are using mac and you will hear just noice ;)
